…quase confinados, assumimos impreterivelmente que a liberdade é um valor precioso mas, aquela que é responsável, porque a outra, talvez se transforme numa porta de entrada para uma certa libertação que em algumas situações nos pode levar a tempos trágicos, ou seja, vivermos todos numa ilha quase à deriva!.

…longe de nós que isso aconteça mas, na verdade a desumanização da sociedade em que vivemos é uma realidade e, cremos mesmo que por vezes é necessário o nosso pensamento retornar à infância, ao seio da família, daquela Europa do nosso tempo de criança, quase medieval, situada na encosta agreste da montanha do Caramulo!. Pelo menos para nós, é um porto de abrigo, é um refúgio, é o local onde deixamos de ser escravos, pelo menos do pensamento!.

…porquê?. No nosso caso, de pessoas que tentam cumprir as regras impostas pelas autoridades médicas e científicas, que nos recomendam, ficar em casa, usar máscara, não se expor, tratando os vizinhos e amigos como se fossem estranhos, ou seja, fugir deles e não lhes falando ou cumprimentando!. Assim, o nosso tempo é dispendido quase todo em frente à televisão ou pelo menos ela, a televisão, está quase sempre ligada!.

…e o que é que acontesse?. É desmoralizante, é uma linguagem automática, é tosco, não existe arte, é a vulgaridade à procura da emoção, é a submissão a alguém que talvez lhes paga e, se não houver mortos e algum terrorismo pelo caminho, ou seja, cenas repugnantes com assassinatos familiares, mulheres e crianças raptadas, avalanches e, se for um combóio que descarrilou causando algumas mortes, então é uma notícia em directo!. Depois, depois vêm os intervalos, alguns com anúncios não muito recomendáveis, aconselhando ao consumismo desenfreado e ao materialismo!.

Then, there are the breaks, some with not very recommendable ads, advising rampant consumerism and materialism)!.

…e, se vão transmitir qualquer notícia que trata um assunto importante e de relevo, é interrompido por um político que fala com frases repetidas e estudadas ou um qualquer presidente de qualquer coisa, treinador ou atleta milionário que chega ao aeroporto no seu jacto privado, gaguejando um palavriado numa linguagem quase a rondar o reles, que ele e o seu clube são os melhores dos melhores e, vão à frente e querem ganhar tudo, seja de que maneira for!.

…enfim, tudo isto sai repetido uma, duas, três, quatro, cinco ou mais vezes ao dia, são notícias excitantes sem qualquer conteúdo de excitação,  envolvendo comentários entre palradores e jornalistas aprendizes, que discutem, parecendo até “milagreiros” ou vendedores da “banha da cobra”, dizendo que têm ali a solução na “palma da mão”, para os mais difíceis problemas que envolvem a sociedade!. Todo este cenário se passa, enterrompendo-se uns aos outros, tal como se estivessem a falar no meio de uma guerra civil!.

…resultado?. Mudamos de canal, procurando alguma paz, vendo um qualquer filme antigo a preto e branco, onde no final, normalmente, “o bem vence o mal” e, quase sempre os protagonistas principais se beijam, num beijo muito romântico, só para a fotografia, claro!.

…é nestes momentos que sentimos tantas saudades da nossa gente, da nossa aldeia quase mediaval do século passado, naquela encosta agreste da montanha do Caramulo, onde a natureza era tão simples, onde se nascia sem trazer nada, morrendo sem levar nada e, no meio ninguém brigava por algo, porque sabiam que também não levavam nada!.
