Estávamos chegando ao “Muncho Lake” (Lago Muncho), um refúgio perfeito para fazer uma caminhada cénica à beira do lago, com água também pura, vinda dos “glacieres” (neve acomulada em milhares, talvez milhões de anos), que se pode beber, onde existe entre outras coisas, uma boa opção para acampar no “Strawberry Campground”, onde já pernoitámos duas vezes em viajens anteriores e que, pela manhã quando abrimos a porta da caravana, deparamos com um cenário de montanha e lagos que talvez custasse “um milhão de dollares”, onde alguns animais, vêm beber água àquela parte do lago, mas que não era possível ver, se não nos tivéssemos “arrojado” a esta aventura!. Bocados na nossa alma que por lá ficaram, quando abandonámos a região do “Muncho Lake” (Lago Muncho), continuando apreciando um cenário rodeado por picos de montanha, alguns cobertos de gelo, com milhões de anos, com uma altura que chega a atingir os 6,560 pés (2.000m), não podendo esquecer que o lago se situa mais ou menos a 2,850 pés (800m), do nível da água do mar, cuja água é proveniente do Trout River (Rio das Trutas)!. …mudando um pouco de assunto, mas condizendo com o actual momento, também nós, “família europeia e falando com acento europeu”, tivémos o nosso caso discriminatório com policiais!. Foi quase quatro décadas atrás, viajando a caminho do estado da Flórida, passando pelo estado do Alabama, querendo mostrar aos nossos filhos, uma plantação de algodão em crescimento, parámos ao lado da estrada numa pequena povoação, sendo surpreendidos por um policial, que ao verificar a matrícula do veículo, que era do norte, e ao ouvir explicar a razão da paragem, claro, falando nós com acento nas palavras, pediu-nos a identificação, mandou-nos colocar as mãos sobre a frente do veículo, imobilizou-nos, separando-nos as pernas, num gesto brusco, depois de verificar os documentos, atirou-os para dentro do veículo, subjugando-nos com palavras e gestos menos correctos, humilhando-nos na frente da família, empurrando-nos e dando-nos ordens expressas para sair-mos imediatamente da área da sua jurisdição, em alternativa em nos levar presos para a estação da polícia, seguindo-nos por uma distância de umas dezenas de milhas, até nos ver desaparecer da sua área!. …nós, também já sofremos, por mais que uma vez alguns casos descriminatórios de policiais, ocasionalmente quando viajámos pelos diversos estados deste grande país e, mencionando um pequeno e simples resumo da historia universal, procurando única e simplesmente uma possível resposta para horríveis casos como este, respeitando ideias e acções, sem o mínimo intuito de querer ferir qualquer personalidade na sua dignidade, muitos historiadores acreditam, que a cultura anglo-saxónica se iniciou por volta do século V, quando invasores germânicos, que já se haviam estabelecido na Grã-Bretanha como mercenários, atravessaram o Mar do Norte e mataram muitos habitantes britânicos ou os empurraram para o País de Gales, Cornowall e para a Escócia!. Eram guerreiros, fazendeiros ou pescadores, morando em cabanas de madeira cobertas de colmo, amavam a liberdade e preferiam viver em pequenas comunidades, tendo como base da sua economia a agricultura, no entanto, também eram conhecidos como piratas!. Esses valores incluiam, bravura, lealdade, genorisidade e heroísmo, onde se incluíam as tais pessoas de tribos germânicas que migraram para a ilha da Europa continental, e claro, grupos indígenas britânicos que se foram adoptando a alguns aspectos da cultura e do idioma anglo-saxões!. …gostavam de jogos de azar, brigando e bebendo, sobretudo cerveja, tendo algum respeito pelas mulheres!. Gostavam de música e de cantar, sentando-se ao redor das mesas comunitárias, ouvindo histórias sobre guerras, caça, aventuras de luta e lendas heróicas do passado, ou seja, o que hoje se lê na maior parte da literatura inglesa mais antiga, mais conhecida como iiteratura Anglo-Saxónica!. (They liked games of chance, fighting and drinking, especially beer, having some respect for women!. …depois…, depois, como a princípio mencionámos, em algumas pequenas cidades, vilas ou aldeias, ainda hoje existem nas suas populações, de onde normalmente as forças de segurança são recrutadas, e cuja tarefa é ajudar e proteger as populações, pequenos vestígios da época anglo-saxónica, onde um elemento que devia proteger o comum cidadão, talvez por usar um equipamento de polícia, se julga um ser superior, discriminando, consoante a raça ou a cor da pessoa, ou seja, da sua vítima, iniciando o ódio, o medo ou a morte, levando as populações a revoltarem-se protestando e…, no meio de tudo isto, existem sempre os tais oportunistas, que tiram vantagem da catastrófica situação, que julgamos ter a sua origem nas atitudes que acima mencionámos!. …levando aos protestos nos últimos três dias, mais propriamente na área metropolitana de Minneapolis e na sua cidade “gêmea”, Saint Paul, separada apenas pelo rio Mississippi, onde incidentes violentos ocorreram nas últimas três noites, com centenas de manifestantes a cortaram uma ponte no centro da cidade que liga as duas cidades, a saques de empresas, incêndios em veículos policiais e confrontos com agentes, onde grupos de manifestantes, alguns ajoelhados com os punhos erguidos, reuniram-se em frente ao quartel da polícia do terceiro distrito, no sudeste de Minneapolis, que foi incendiado nos tumultos de quinta-feira à noite, sob o grito de, “Não pode parar todos nós” ou “Não consigo respirar”!.  (Leading to protests in the past three days, more specifically in the Minneapolis metropolitan area and its “twin” city, Saint Paul, separated only by the Mississippi River, where violent incidents have occurred in the past three nights, with hundreds of protesters cutting it off a bridge in the city center that connects the two cities, to looting by companies, fires in police vehicles and clashes with agents, where groups of protesters, some kneeling with their fists raised, gathered in front of the police district of the third district , in southeastern Minneapolis, which was set on fire in Thursday night’s riots, under the cry, “You can’t stop us all” or “I can’t breathe”)!.

…lamentávelmente, tudo isto se está a passar num mundo civilizado e no ano de 2020 da era de Cristo, onde nós, comum cidadão, depois de descrever todo este cenário, também nos apetece dizer, “Não consigo respirar”!.
