…”Quarta Expedição ao Wild West”!. (Dia 7) …”Fourth Expedition to the Wild West”!. (Day 7)

…it was dawn when we left the RV park in the small town of Torrey, Utah, entering Scenic Byway 12 in southern Utah, which for us is not just a road, it’s a journey through millions of years of Earth’s history carved into vibrant red rock landscapes, stretching 124 miles between Torrey and Panguitch!. This iconic route was once used by early pioneers and farmers before earning the title of All-American Road in 1997!

…this road is much more than a road that connects cities and national parks!. It’s an unforgettable journey through some of the most extraordinary landscapes in America, where every curve reveals a new landscape, making this already mentioned and legendary road a must-see for anyone exploring the American West, connecting red rock canyons, plateaus and forests!.

…this journey takes us through a surreal mix of alpine forests, towering plateaus, and deep canyons, connecting natural wonders like Bryce Canyon National Park and Head of the Rocks Overlook!. Each mile feels like stepping into a different world shaped by time, erosion, and raw beauty!

…coming from the east, with a sky showing a few clouds that soon turned to rain as the temperature dropped, however, our adventure continued and we took a “tour” of the scenic road around Bryce Canyon National Park, which took us to the highest points, stopping at all the main points marked as scenic and unmissable for a perfect Bryce adventure!

…because when visiting Bryce Canyon, probably everyone, or almost everyone, has heard of the “hoodoos,” which are impressive pinnacles of giant, orange and white rocks, creating one of the most unique landscapes in the American Southwest, creating a landscape that seems otherworldly and… at some of these marked points, we feel like we’re in a “Star Wars” movie, enjoying epic views directly from the rim of the Canyon or on any short and easy trail, even for elderly visitors like us!

…and, as mentioned above, there was some rain, so there was no opportunity to see the sunrise or sunset, reaching the top of the hoodoos and “setting them ablaze with a pink and orange glow that they tell us is pure magic,” but… in a secluded spot on the edge and with some safety, we appreciated the amphitheater of Bryce Canyon, which faces east, making it one of the most spectacular places in the world to appreciate, when the rain, driven by a gentle wind, made some ripples in the space above the “hoodoos”!.

…unlike other extensive parks, we can really enjoy the best of Bryce Canyon in a short space of time, and it’s good to note that Rainbow Point, Yovimpa Point, or Natural Bridge are the highest points, but one of the best views is at Inspiration Point, where you can take that breathtaking photo, the kind that makes you think, “I can’t believe this is real!”

…one of the most photographed spots along the way is Red Canyon Arch, a stunning natural formation sculpted over millions of years by wind, rain, and ice. Its fiery red glow and dramatic curves perfectly capture the spirit of Utah’s legendary red rock region, making Scenic Byway 12 a drive that feels more like a living museum than a road!

…the Red Arch Road Tunnel, located near Bryce Canyon National Park, is a small but picturesque man-made tunnel carved into red sandstone along a forest road in the Dixie National Forest. Built in the early 20th century, it was created to improve traveler access and forest management in this rugged area!.

…the tunnel reflects the practical engineering of the time, blending naturally with the surrounding landscape. Today, it serves as a tranquil point of interest for visitors exploring the back roads near Bryce Canyon, offering a glimpse into the early development of the region’s infrastructure!

…after several hours, already traveling along U.S. Route 89, which came from the north and a stop for exercise and rest, we arrived at Zion National Park, which was developed in the early 20th century to make its remote canyon accessible to visitors! A major milestone occurred in 1930 with the completion of the Zion-Mount Carmel Highway and its iconic tunnel, connecting Zion to Bryce Canyon and opening southern Utah to tourism! This route, designed through steep cliffs, reflects both the natural beauty of the region and the ingenuity of the early road builders!.

…Zion National Park is a nature preserve in southwestern Utah distinguished by the steep red cliffs of Zion Canyon. The Zion Canyon Scenic Drive runs through its main section, leading to forest trails along the Virgin River. The river flows into the Emerald Pools, which feature waterfalls and a hanging garden. Also along the river, partly through deep ravines, is the shallow Zion Narrows walk!

…hiking through the Narrows in Zion National Park is one of the world’s most unique adventures, where instead of a trail, you can follow the Virgin River through the imposing canyon walls, formed over millions of years in this impressive gorge carved by the river cutting through the red sandstone, creating narrow passages and breathtaking views.

…the day was already well underway when we arrived at the Best Western RV Park in the small town of Mount Carmel, Utah, where we spent the night!

”Quarta Expedição ao Wild West”!. (Dia 2) ”Fourth Expedition to the Wild West”!. (Day 2)

…what makes us so persistent to travel…, is that the trips never end, only the travelers are over!. As such, we veterans are trying to prolong them in memories, memories, narratives that constantly become images that do not dissipate our memory, which we now try to describe…, especially for the younger ones!.

…as we always do, when entering any state, being possible with daylight, we stop to photograph your identification plate and, also being possible, to visit its welcome center, gathering information, which is always very useful, for those who like us, we love history and nature!.

…let’s then start the continuation of our ”fourth expedition to the Wild West”!. Today is the second day we walked on the road and…, making some progress, slowly approaching the goal they are…, the long plains and mountains, which despite being the summer time, beyond those small clouds, exist in the summit or even the parales of those mountains still covered with some snow, which continue to cover millions of years of life, there in the states of Colorado, Utah, Arizona or New Mexico!.

…continuing, coming from the state of Tennessee, we entered and exited the states of Kentucky and Illinois, in a flat region, marked by agricultural lands, forests, hills, rivers and swamps, traveling along intersecting roads, facilitating travelers heading north, south, east or west of the territory and, with some traffic, took us west, to the state of Missouri, where we stopped for some time in the city of St. Louis!..

…whose cognome is, “Mother of the West”, and we, parking our “White Fox” (caravan), almost without noticing it we reminded that musical “Meet Me in St. Louis”, (find me in São Luis), starring Judy Garland, who is going on in this city and tells the story of a family that does not want to leave the city, a new life in a new life. New York!.

…we don’t know well why, but we didn’t want to leave town either!. We were in the river port area, which at that time was the largest port of the Mississippi River, with its population to expand after the American Civil War, becoming the fourth largest city of the USA century!.

…where the monument ”The Gateway to the West” is located at the place of St. Louis foundation, on the west bank of the Mississippi River, being the centerpiece of Gateway Arch National Park, becoming an internationally recognized symbol of St. Louis, as well as a popular tourist destination!.

…as in all the history of humanity, the villages were born with people’s displacement to other regions, some seeking better survival, some for other reasons, such as the famous “gold race”, stopping where there was a river or stream with water and the terrain could be cultivated, where there was vegetation, could practice hunting or fishing, where the climate was pleasant!.

…and continuing, following the western route, the plain continued, in a region that constitutes the state of Missouri, where we saw an entire plain scenery until the city of Columbia, still in the aforementioned state of Missouri, where we spent the night in an RV park)!.

…a vida vai ensinando em silêncio!. (…life teaches us in silence)!.

…our already long age and the years spent on three continents, (two years in a war scenario), taught us that we only arrived as visitors to this planet that we call Earth and…, we have no choice, because one day we will leave without warning!. In other words, in truth “we are an instant between birth and departure, we are a breath in time, a memory, which soon becomes dust in the wind”!

…human beings can build, conquer, study, accumulate wealth and believe that they have control over everything but…, faced with the reality of possible less good things that could be fatal, we realize how fragile our certainties are and how fleeting our achievements are!.

…as such, live, keep walking, even when your heart is tired and no one understands the weight of the years you carry, love, laugh, forgive and enjoy life, even though there are days when smiles are heavy, when the heart gets tired and the soul only asks for silence but…, move forward, even without a sparkle in your eyes, which is also courage, because in truth, joy does not always appear in the form of laughter, sometimes, it is just the strength of wanting to continue!

…the biggest illusion is to live as if we had all the time in the world, because life is brief, and what seems so important to us today can completely lose its value in reality, because time passes, the body ages and…, all the riches are left behind!.

…in short, we don’t own anything, everything we currently own is…, fleeting!.

Tony Borie.

…feliz dia 4 de Julho, América!. (…happy 4th of July, America)!

…in the 17th century, the population of the American colonies was largely British but…, English was certainly not the only language spoken, and of course, it certainly did not become the predominant language either, at least throughout what is now the eastern USA!.

…in those colonial times, perhaps in the space of a generation, Americans born in towns like Jamestown, in the early 1600s, should have spoken differently from their parents!. Why?. Because these first adventurous settlers, coming into contact with other European settlers who spoke Dutch, Swedish, French, Spanish or Portuguese, as well as other indigenous languages and, later, the languages of enslaved Africans emerged, which in a way contributed to the creation of the old American English with an accent…, which is spoken today!.

…and that today, 250 years later, the descendants of these adventurous colonists, with the sacrifice of the human conditions of the time in which they lived, worked hard, contributing with their efforts to the progress and growth of this wonderful country, continuing, not in public spaces, but at least in their homes and with their families, to use the customs and speak part of the language of the countries from which they came!. This is a truth that, at least, new generations should not ignore!

…feliz dia 4 de Julho, América!.

…happy 4th of July, America!

…pedaços na nossa vida!. (… pieces of my life)!.

…today we are sad, although we are grateful for every sunrise, because many dream of tomorrow, but never see it!. We are sad, because we just got home after spending a day in the hospital!.

…why?. Because they just placed a “pass maker” in our chest, which is a pacemaker that helps the human body survive, taking over or correcting the heart’s natural electrical signaling and…, it wasn’t enough to be a survivor of the cancer disease, which tormented us for about 12 years and whose painful treatment we resisted and…, 3 years ago, they opened our chest to put in 3 new veins and repair a valve in the heart!.

…this is part of the price we paid when we were still young, we were taken from our village in the mountainous interior of Portugal, received hurriedly combat training, put in the hold of Portuguese colonial war ships, sailing south in the Atlantic, going to participate in that damned colonial war in Africa, fighting the guerrillas who were fighting for the independence of their territory, people we didn’t know and hadn’t done any harm to us, neither to us nor to our family!.

…they are remnants of the fear, despair and anguish that went through us, there in that swampy gulf of Guinea, where we remained for a period of two miserable and long years, with a miserable diet equal to 30 days a month, without vegetables or proteins, just like the muddy water from the swamps that we drank, without any medical assistance…, they contributed a lot to the health we have today!.

…but the good part is that we had the comfort and company of our dedicated wife Isaura and our daughter Sandy, who came from the north, (our son Tony, our daughter-in-law Kathy and our son-in-law Brian, as well as our grandchildren, who also live in the north, were on the phone) and, we are still here, always resisting and continuing to scream, scream and scream in the four corners of the world, so that the new generations never get involved in any armed conflict no matter how small and…, when we die, Please don’t be sad, however, and if you can, send us a wish for wild flowers, just like those that existed in our village!.

Tony Borie.

…então é aqui que Deus colocou o Oeste!. (…so this is where God put the West)!.

…we traveled on US 163 road, approaching the border between the states of Utah and Arizona, entering an extensive valley where its floor is largely siltstone of Cutler Group, or sand derived from it, deposited by the sinuous rivers that sculpted this wonderful valley!. Its bright red color comes from the exposed iron oxide in the weather-worn siltstone, where also its darker and blue-gray rocks get their color from manganese oxide!.

…is a region that forms part of the Colorado Plateau, which includes large stone structures, including the famous “The Eye of the Sun”, which is a natural formation that takes on the appearance of an eye , where the survivors of the Navajo Nation have encounters and festivals, with songs and drums!.

…apesar da elevação do fundo deste maravilhoso vale, poder variar entre 1.500 a 1.800 metros acima do nível do mar, a nossa “White Fox”, (caravana), deslizava suavemente!. O cenário era tal qual o dos filmes do Oeste, já avistávamos ao longe uma parte do vale, que logo nos fez lembrar a célebre frase do actor John Wayne, quando exclamava, “So this is where God put the west” (então é aqui que Deus colocou o oeste)!.

…despite the elevation of the bottom of this wonderful valley, to be able to vary between 1,500 and 1,800 meters above sea level, our “White Fox” (caravan),slid smoothly!. The scenery was just like that of the Western movies, we could already see in the distance a part of the valley, which immediately reminded us of the famous phrase of the actor John Wayne, when he exclaimed, “So this is where God put the west”!.

…the valley is within the territory of the Navajo Nation Reserve, the entrance was already there, we had to pay an access fee, where we were informed that it was possible to travel in our “White Fox” (caravan),, for a certain area of the park in a dirt road with approximately 27 kilometers (a trip of two to three hours), visiting some parts of Monument Valley).

…after crossing some area next to the Information Center, where we took some photos still with sun, because when we entered in the park, trying to do “Loop Drive” (designation of the circuit of the park), some rain and even thunderstorm, appeared, however we continued and, the sun also returned again, at least in some areas of the route!.

…as we were advancing, the scenery was incredible!. Traveling inland, the Monument Valley, every now and then a natural landscape, hidden among small red stone monuments that, among other travelers who venture in this wilderness!.

…even today, in some strategic points, we can look at the desert where high monuments stand out and, after admiring the scenery, closing our eyes for moments, in the thought, we can almost see a diligence descending the dirt road, stone and sand!. According to reports, more than 400,000 people visit Monument Valley every year!.

…we, like our “White Fox” (caravan),, returned to the site of the beginning of the park, we were covered with red sand, after crossing an irregular scenery, at first with some water and mud and then dusty, but glad not only by the landscape, but from what we learned about the natives of the Navajo Nation!.

Tony Borie.

(…please give me water, just water, nothing else)!.

…almost considered family, are the couple Jorge and Natércia, who created a lovely and united family, who for some periods of the year live perched in the Gulf of Mexico, more precisely on the beach of Sandy Key, and who, among other perks, often extend an invitation to us for social visits, making it possible for us, simple and common survivors of this world, to live for some periods of time with the “five-star” label!.

…Natércia is a kind, understanding and inspiring person and…, we and Jorge, were “brothers in arms”,in the cursed colonial war that the then Portuguese regime maintained in Africa in its former colonies and…, fate would have it that we immigrated to this continent even before the “carnation revolution”,living here, resisting all the“ills” that that damned war left us, and there were many, not only in the body but also in the soul…, until this beautiful age, which is already passing “eighty”!..

…and today, we are going to tell you in a small summary, involving ourselves, of what the days spent in that damned Colonial War were like, where the most regrettable thing is that the hungry, the sick, the illiterate and the misery that was constant at that time, unfortunately continued, even afterwards, when it seemed that there was already peace!. Here you go!.

…there was dust in the air, we breathed in the hot, humid air that entered our nostrils, making us sweat and make our camouflage wet!. The soldiers in action were anxious and expectant, it was a mess, you took two steps and you tripped over something!. The smell of diesel, from the vehicles’ engines, which didn’t stop working, suffocated!. There was another strange smell, which must have come from the camouflage uniforms and weapons of war that the parachute troops, who had just been launched into the area, were carrying!.

…in short, it was pandemonium that late afternoon!. Jorge was among the paratrooper troops and he asked us for water, perhaps remembering the pure and crystal clear water he drank on the slopes of the Caramulo mountain, where he came from in Portugal!.

    – Please give me water, just water, nothing else!

…his lips were dry, his eyes were fixed on something, no one knew what it was!. At that moment, we didn’t recognize the happy and relaxed friend he used to be when we visited him in the capital of the province, and of course, later we even remembered one of those visits, in which a group of friends got together, and a barrel of wine was drunk, stolen from the barracks and…, in the end so that there would be no trace, the barrel was burned!.

…continuing, that area of red earth, inside our barracks, was pandemonium!. And we, being a reasonable soldier, but a weak warrior, never feeling comfortable in that conflict zone and…, seeing so many soldiers in action, so many weapons and other war material, calculate our despair!.

…it was early in the morning, still in the evening of the next day, almost everyone started to leave the barracks at the same time! It was a convoy of vehicles, helicopters, making a deafening noise, raising dust, leaves and rubbish and…, the report of the action (which we will not describe, so as not to remember moments that still make us shudder with fear and anguish), which followed, was described by some participants, mainly by our friend Jorge, and confirmed by the reports that reached us, because it was part of our military tasks!.

…yes, in a fight where enemy forces, already with some guerrilla warfare training, equipped with some modern weapons and knowledgeable about the terrain of action, unfortunately caused some deaths and injuries to our forces!.

…Jorge, given his courage in a combat scenario, protecting and helping his companions, where he rescued from the area where there was desperate fighting, carrying a dead comrade on his back, who otherwise, unfortunately, would remain there forever in those damned swamps of the Gulf of Guinea!.

…for his bravery, he was awarded the “war cross” medal, on the tenth of June, at Terreiro do Paço, in Lisbon!.

…Jorge and Natércia, please resist!. Right now, todayis the most important thing, and I hope that tomorrow comes with some health and peace!

…Província de Alberta, Canada!. (…Province of Alberta, Canada)!.

…we arrived in the province of Alberta, Canada, which has two large cities, one is Calgary, the largest city and the financial capital, and the other, which is Edmonton, the political and industrial capital!. Alberta has one of the strongest and most influential economies in Canada, where its farms supply the entire country!. In other words…, they say that it is the province of Alberta that feeds Canada!.

…we were heading west, because our destination was to reach “Banff National Park”in the “Rocky Mountains” region, which is a biosphere reserve that fits on the southern border with the USA, where after entering highway #93,They also call it “Banff-Windermere Parkway”or “Icefields Parkway”,where after every curve a scene appears where we have to stop our “White Fox” (caravan), admire and take photos!.

…it’s not just the mountain scenery, it’s the glaciers, the lakes, the snow on the rocks, in some places entering the crystal clear water, the forests or the wild animals that constantly appear to us!. Anyway, if we think it will take 4 hours to cross this road, you won’t even be able to see the slightest in 8 hours!

…one of our stops was at Lake Louise, which they named after Princess Louise Caroline Alberta, the fourth daughter of Queen Victoria!. It was like that in the past, everything that was important was named after kings, queens, princesses or dukes! However, the village was originally called Laggan, and was one of several stations that exist along the route of the Canadian Pacific Railway.

…but back to Lake Louise,it is one of the most visited lakes in the world!. Next to it is the emblematic Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise hotel, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Siteand which normally appears in photos, cinema, television, magazines or romance books, always surrounded by some mountains, where the Victoria Glacier stands out. , and of course, the aforementioned emerald-colored lake, sparkling and also majestic!.

…we also passed Moraine Lake, which is located a few miles from Lake Louise, which offers a panoramic view of the Valley of the Ten Peaks!. This scene was depicted on the back of Canadian $20 bills in the 1969-1979 series “Scenes of Canada”!

…heading ever northwards, through a region with mountain scenery, where the forests are dominated by pine at lower altitudes, with lakes and streams running wildly here and there, and if we look up the line From the trees, we admire mainly rocks and ice, which must have been there for perhaps thousands of years!.

…the appearance of mammals such as the brown bear, the puma, the elk or the wild sheep is constant, as well as hundreds of species of birds, which live here, in those mountains formed from sedimentary rocks that were pushed into the east by more recent rock strata, between 80 and 55 million years ago, as perhaps in the last few million years, glaciers covered most of the park, but today they are found only on the mountainsides, although they include the “Columbia Icefield.” , the largest uninterrupted glacial mass in the Rocky Mountains, where water and ice erosion sculpted the mountains into their current forms!.

…wow, wow, wow,… so much history of nature that you can still admire today and, when we saw many vehicles stopped on the side of the road, it is certain that they are enjoying some wild animal, which decided to cross their road, Because it’s their place, or else they decided to come and “show themselves”!.

…o povo de Gander, Terra Nova, Canadá!. (…the people of Gander, Newfoundland, Canada)!.

…we headed east, along road number 1, which we also call the Trans-Canada Highway, passing through some places where there were traffic signs preventing exits to some cities, towns or villages, such as Twillingateor the Islands of Fireand Change, further north, which we included in our itinerary, but the recommendation at the Visitor Center warned us that it was not advisable to travel there, at least with the equipment we took!.

…the day was already advanced and, at times, it seemed as if we were traveling through another planet where we were beginning to see a golden sunset that made the scene of small golden mountains reflected on the water of small lakes and streams, where silence stretched for miles and miles and…, our dedicated wife Isaura, was looking online for an RV park for us to spend the night, which with some luck we found and…, it was a place with history!.

…it was the city of Gander, in the province of Newfoundland in Canada, which was already used to receiving international visitors, as after all, this city was built around its airport, and it could even be said that “Gander exists because of its airport”, which was discovered due to its strategic location on this eastern island in Canada!.

…where the kind person who attended to us, explaining the whole story, soon told us: “ohhóoo…, they come from the USA, they were lucky to spend the night here, because our generous and selfless people, on the occasion of the horrible day in which the World Trade Center, in the city of New York, was destroyed by a horrible terrorist attack, as well as part of the Pentagon, in the city of Washington and, almost 3,000 people died, our Gander International Airport, received hundreds of aircraft, which were carrying thousands of passengers and were forced to land”!.

…and continued:“any of the planes in the air that morning of September 11, 2001, could have been another missile of death!. Who knew how big this terrorist attack was?. When the USA closed its airspace, here, our small Gander International Airport, in Newfoundland, opened its runways, where 38 wide-body planes landed on transatlantic routes”!.

…of course, this kind person told us one of the many stories of the horrible September 11th, where the people of the city of Gander, who were no more than 10,000, in those days looked at all the planes lined up at the airport and didn’t talk about terrorism, they didn’t see potential attacks!. They just wanted to help!

…this city, every year, on the occasion of September 11th, reminds the USA of the evil that no one was able to stop and that unfortunately spread throughout the world!. We must also remember the human capacity for kindness, selflessness and generosity that these people of the city of Gander and neighboring areas had, magnificently going through the crisis, responding to radio advertisements, offering food, medicines, soaps, blankets and even extra underwear, in addition to offering hot showers and guest rooms to all 6,579 passengers and crew of the aircraft!.

…where a small community in the middle of a relatively isolated island in the North Atlantic, being very exposed to the rest of the world, probably helped them prepare for what happened in September 2001, where they revealed their global compassion integrated into the culture of this community, making it clear that the stranded passengers,“plane people”, as the locals affectionately called them, would be there for days, that they ended up being released from the planes, some after almost 24 hours in a grounded aircraft!.

…without hesitation, the“Newfoundlanders”,as we explained above, opened their homes to bathe, their school gyms, community centers and hotels to let them sleep and eat hot meals; and their hearts towards the unknown, after a tragedy of such magnitude!.

…these people did all this without any instructions, it was something that really came naturally, they just did it, welcoming strange people into their homes, putting everyone on an equal footing, that is, “all religions, all politics, whatever, were being treated exactly the same way”,where almost 100 nationalities represented, had to eat the craziest foods, where local favorites stood out, such as elk and rabbit stew!. Anyway, “everyone was being fed the same type of food, where one person could be a millionaire and the other person next to them could be without a penny in their pocket, it didn’t matter, in this situation, they were all the same”!

…and, as the Broadway musical“Come From Away” reminds us, the Canadian community of Ganderwelcomed 6,579 strangers into its midst, in those darkest days in the USA, where this community became “a Little Apple and not the Big Apple”, as the city’s mayor said in 2001!.

…adorámos falar com este maravilhoso povo!.

…we loved talking to these wonderful people!

”Terceira Expedição ao Antigo Oeste”!. (13) ”Third Expedition to the Old West”!. (13)

…on the last day of our “Third expedition to the Old West”, passing through the states of Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama…, we finally came to Florida, where we lived and returned again!. The weather was almost blue sky with some white clouds!. What we “intended was to travel east, that is, to get home”!.  As such, the story of the day…, there is no history!.

…e finalmente…, chegamos a casa!.

…and finally…, we got home!. It was 13 days and nights, 7,446 miles traveled, 2,112 photos and crossing 22 states in the USA!. We passed through cities, villages, villages, mountain roads (where even if it is summer, there was snow on its summit and only two to three months old a year were open), national parks, with temperatures of heat sometimes infernal, some cold, rain, mud, dust, stone, repairs or deviations of roads destroyed by avalanches, or even strong winds, and…, also beautiful days of blue sky, sky, sky blue sky through plains, rivers or small streams!.

…it was a panoramic trip similar to a time trip, always learning, often being attracted to outdoor adventures, exploring historical places or simply plunging into a relaxed atmosphere, having the opportunity to explore exhibitions and artifacts that offered us information about the past, which sometimes housed historical treasures, providing us with a deeper appreciation of its cultural meaning!.

…in the distance we saw large or small mountains with some snow, some covered with forest, two -way and fast roads, some small, curved and cliffs, with the floor in mud and water!. We stopped here and there, to admire pure nature, with the animals or wild birds in their own territory, where we yes…, we were the intruders we took up their space!.

…we saw and were living with people of other latitudes, but with the same sense of adventure, often under a radiant sun, others, as we already describe, cold, rain, mud or dust and dark clouds and…, not knowing where it was our destination for that day, or where we would stay!.

…and things like that, only those who walk on the road and love to see stunning scenarios, where there is no desire to get out of them, and…, always sleeping in our “White Fox” (caravan) and…, waking up with lakes, whose scenery, only finds itself in propaganda magazines of travel agencies!. Anyway, a unique experience, in anyone’s life!.

…and we consider ourselves privileged, because after this adventure…, we arrived home!. Until one of these days, companions of journey!
